My friends, my family — my fellow citizens —

We stand here today, not because it’s easy, not because it’s comfortable — but because it is necessary. Because silence is no longer an option. Because when injustice becomes the norm, resistance becomes our duty.

Look around you. This is what courage looks like. This is what hope sounds like. This is what change feels like.

The administration has failed us. Failed to protect the people. Failed to listen. Failed to lead with empathy, integrity, or even basic human decency. While they sit in their offices, shielded by privilege and power, we are the ones bearing the weight of their choices — in our homes, in our streets, in our communities.

But today, we say no more.

We are not here to beg. We are not here to ask politely. We are here to demand what is ours — justice, dignity, and accountability.

And let them hear this loud and clear — we are not afraid.

Because what we have — they can’t take. They can’t take our unity. They can’t take our truth. They can’t take the fire in our hearts that says another world is possible, and we will fight for it.

This is more than a protest. This is a promise. A promise that we will not back down. That every voice here today adds to a wave that will not be silenced, a force that will not be stopped.

To those in power: you may ignore our cries, twist our words, try to break our spirit — but we are still here. And we are not leaving until the people are heard.

So raise your voices, raise your fists, and raise your hearts.
