Brave Women Weekend of Action: International Women's Day – Youngstown, Ohio
March 7–8, 2026

The start of 2026 made one thing painfully clear: this administration believes it is above the law. We have watched cruelty become policy, chaos dressed up as leadership, and power exercised without accountability.

And still — women have stood up.

This moment calls for courage. Not quiet frustration. Not waiting. Action.

This International Women’s Day, let’s be brave together.

On March 7, we participate in a National day of noncompliance:
No working. No spending. No contributing to a system that undermines our rights.

On March 8, we gather at the Mahoning County Courthouse and take to the streets of downtown Youngstown. We will have a rally with speakers and encourage all to attend from 3:00-5:00 PM.

When we withdraw our labor, our dollars, and our cooperation, the impact is undeniable. This weekend is about demonstrating our collective power — our ability to resist injustice, disrupt systems that harm us, and demand accountability.

But this is not only about resistance. It is about vision. It is about building a country where bodily autonomy is protected, where equality is real, and where dignity is not negotiable.

We invite everyone who believes in freedom, democracy, and human rights to stand with us. Women’s rights are human rights — and when they are threatened, our entire community feels the consequences.

Call for Speakers & Musicians:
We are inviting community members to share brief remarks on the current fight for women’s liberation, the stakes of this moment, and the future we are working to build. We also welcome live musicians who want to contribute to the energy and spirit of the day.

If you are interested in speaking or performing, please contact info@mvfreedomfighters.org.

International Women’s Day is a global day of action. Let Youngstown be counted.

Be brave.
Be visible.
Be part of the movement.
