About this event
Join Mahoning Valley Freedom Fighters for a community workshop designed to help our neighbors understand what’s happening in Mahoning County and why it matters. With growing concerns about local law enforcement, immigration enforcement, and the decisions being made by our county leadership, this workshop gives you the information, clarity, and tools you need to protect your community and make your voice heard. Whether you’re directly impacted or an ally who wants to stand with your neighbors, your presence matters — and together, we can show up informed and united.
What’s This Workshop About?
Mahoning Valley Freedom Fighters is hosting a community education workshop to break down what’s really happening in Mahoning County when it comes to: - ICE involvement in our local community - The Mahoning County Sheriffs collaboration with ICE - How residents, families, and allies are being impacted - What rights community members have - What we’re taking to the County Commissioners meeting - How YOU can give effective public comment and show up with confidence
Why This Matters?
Our community deserves transparency, accountability, and safety. This workshop will ensure that we show up informed, prepared, and speaking with one unified voice. It will also provide attendees with credible information so everyone can understand what’s happening, ask informed questions, and take meaningful action.
When: Sunday, January 11th 2026 Time: 6:00 - 8:00 PM
Come get informed, ask questions, and join a united community response.
